In this newly created leadership role, you will be a key senior member of our Generation & Industrial team dedicated to leading and engaging with our clients to deliver technically challenging multi-disciplinary projects to support the growth of our NZ energy practice.

**What will a day in this role look like?**
- Workload coordination and resource scheduling including collaboration with other teams/business lines for the delivery of services within the industrial, infrastructure and power generation sector.
- Providing input into the energy strategy to align with the growth objectives of the NZ energy business
- Undertaking Project Director, Project Manager and/or Project Approver responsibilities
- Leading business development activities; building and maintaining client relationships, scanning for opportunities, keeping abreast of local markets and disciplines, development of capture plans and preparation of high-quality bids.
- Coaching and mentoring a high performing and engaged team; performance management, welfare and pastoral care, contributing to and leading diversity and inclusion initiatives.

**Qualifications**

**What are we looking for from you?**
- Degree qualified in mechanical or chemical engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 15 years relevant industrial, generation and/or infrastructure experience, ideally within a consulting environment
- Proven people leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-discipline projects and meeting delivery requirements
- Exceptional client relationship management and business development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
