Are you currently working in the healthcare sector, interested in gaining new skills? Or a recent high school graduate interested in gaining experience in a healthcare setting?

The Cardiac Physiology Department at Health New Zealand - Waitematā are seeking a Cardiac Physiology Technician or Technician Trainee to join our team.

The Cardiac Physiology department at Waitematā District is a rapidly developing service with an enthusiastic team focused on contributing positively to the future of Cardiology within the district.

As a Cardiac Physiology Technician, you will be involved in procedures such as:

- ECGs, Holter, ABU and Event monitor fitting
- Exercise Treadmill Tests (ETT’s) and Spirometry

You will be the responsible for performing the above tests to a very high standard and maintaining good documentation. We are able to provide full training and educational support.
- NCEA Level Three and/or Bursary in two sciences (Biology, Chemistry or Physics), maths and English
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a busy multidisciplinary team
- Show attention to detail
- Compassion for people
- Please note, this position is not for qualified or graduate Physiologists._
