New Zealand Steel, a wholly owned subsidiary of BlueScope, manufactures and markets a range of flat rolled steel products for the building, construction, manufacturing and agricultural sectors. You may know us for our flagship COLORSTEEL® brand.

**What you will be doing**

We are seeking a driven process-orientated individual to join the WNH operational team on a **6-month fixed term basis**. Key operating areas include:

- Dry mining unit
- Processing plant
- Concentrate stacking
- Slurry pumping and water systems.

This is a 12-hour shift position, working a DDNN roster.

**What you will bring to the role**

You will be required to have experience operating process plants and also have experience in the mining/manufacturing industry. Along with this you will have:

- A full NZ driver’s licence
- Analytical & mechanical aptitude
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Problem solving skills with a strong motivational drive to succeed
