**About the Role**
The purpose of this nursing leadership role is to respond to variances in clinical education needs and facilitate learning for nurses working where renal nursing care is delivered in our region. The role also facilitates the learning experience for students and new graduate nurses placed within this service.

The Professional Development Unit offers a supportive environment focused on development and growth. **About you**
Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:
- Current Annual Practising Certificate from Nursing Council of New Zealand
- At least four years post registration experience in the New Zealand’s healthcare context.
- A proven record of facilitating learning, mentorship, and coaching activities.
- Demonstrated ability in meeting the requirements for an expert or proficient level on the Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP).
- Excellent skills in relationship management, interpersonal communication, and negotiation.
- An adult teaching and assessing qualification, such as preceptorship or adult education qualification
- Evidence of successful study at a postgraduate level.
- Current New Zealand drivers licence
