**Enrolled Nurse - Discharge Lounge**
**Health NZ/Te Whatu Ora - Whanganui**
**Permanent Part Time (between 0.4 - 0.6 FTE - to be negotiated) Monday - Friday (days to be negotiated)**

**Ko te kaupapa | About the role**
An opportunity has arisen within our hospital services for an individual with a commitment to improving the services provided to patients to help achieve a safe, efficient and timely discharge from the inpatient wards.
The position provides the chance for you to make a sustainable impact across our Health NZ/Te Whatu Ora Whanganui Hospital.
The position will work in partnership with other members of the MDT and the patient's family and carers ensuring that all plans are in place for the time of discharge including transport arrangements.
**About you**
The successful applicant will bring the following skills and experience:
- Current APC
- A strong customer focused approach to patient care
- Outstanding communication with staff / MDT / patients, family / whanau
- Ability to work independently
- Collaboration with ward staff for the effective transfer of patients to the discharge lounge
- Be flexible and adaptable
