Project Director

**The Role**

We are looking for a Project Director with extensive construction expertise and project delivery experience to lead and manage our retail and hospitality projects. With multiple projects on the horizon for our high-profile client, you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery and performance of these projects.

You will join a seasoned team of professionals with diverse experience working with this client. Your drive, motivation, integrity, and ability will inspire the team to deliver these projects with professionalism and excellence. This role goes beyond giving instructions and overseeing the project.

**About You**

Your project management skills, ability to establish and maintain client relationships, and ownership of overall project delivery will set you apart. You will ensure that all contractual, operational, and statutory requirements of the project are met. You will have a keen eye for numbers, managing costs, forecasting, budgets, and financial reporting. When push comes to shove, you’ll be ready to pitch in whenever needed to prepare a project for handover.

**Requisites**
- Relevant tertiary and/or trade qualifications
- 15 years of hands-on construction experience in project management
- 10 years of commercial construction industry experience
- Experience in leading people and projects
- Knowledge of CCA 2002 and Amendment Act and relevant construction contracts e.g. NZIA General Conditions of Contract, NZS3910 General Conditions of Contract.
- Excellent communication skills
