**Days required**:Monday to Sunday on shift

**Payment**:$28.18 - $30

**Hours per week**:35 to 50 hours per week

**Number of Vacancies**:2 positions

**Key tasks & responsibilities**:

- Assisting all day-to-day operations of the pastry.
- Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients.
- Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing, and shaping dough and pastry goods.
- Preparing pastry fillings.
- Assisting in monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times.
- Help bakers and pastrycooks to prepare and bake buns, cakes, biscuits, and pastry goods.
- Help decorate pastries using different icings and toppings to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
- Assisting in food costing and portion control if required.
- Assisting monitoring stocks for baking ingredients such as flour and sugar and making appropriate orders within budget.
- Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
- General kitchen cleaning and hygiene duties.
