Position: Kitchenhand

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand

Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (up to 40 hours available)

Availability: Weekends required (business open 7 days)

Pay Rate: $25 - $32 per hour

About Us:
We are a bustling Indian takeaway, serving up delicious, authentic dishes to the people of Christchurch. Our kitchen is a dynamic and energetic space where teamwork and passion for food are highly valued.

Role Responsibilities:

- Assisting with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and cooking ingredients.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Assisting chefs with various tasks as needed.
- Packaging and presenting dishes for takeout orders.
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Familiarity with Indian cuisine and spices is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- No specific qualifications or work experience required - just a love for Indian food and a positive attitude
