Motel Receptionist

We are looking for a Receptionist for our busy North Dunedin Motel. The Receptionist role is primarily customer-focused, but the work is varied and includes reception/administration duties, responding to customer needs, laundry work, stocking of storerooms and final checking & preparation of motel rooms for occupancy.

Hours of work will vary, usually within the range of 15 to 30 hours per week and involving 3 to 4 shifts of up to 8 hours duration. Rosters will be prepared weekly. Days of work are generally flexible and negotiable, with the exception that the Receptionist will be required to regularly work at least one weekend afternoon/evening shift.

This role will suit a mature, adaptable person with significant work experience in a customer-facing role. The successful applicant will have a very high standard of spoken and written English.

Prior experience of Motel work may be an advantage, though full training will be provided for the successful applicant.
