**Our Opportunity**:
We are looking for one permanent, full time Knifehand to join our Ika Factory team on our new site in Porirua.

**Key Tasks**:

- Filleting and processing of fish species within set time frames, which meet quality food and safety standards
- Processing, grading and packing of fish
- General labouring and quality control responsibilities
- Health & safety and food quality practices

This is a team-based role, so you need to enjoy working with others, supporting your colleagues and ensuring together targets are met, you keep each other safe and are delivering to a high standard.

We operate our factories and processing functions to the strictest standard of food safety and compliance. It requires every one of our people to be committed to achieving this high standard, adhering to all health & safety requirements and aligning behaviour, performance and engagement to our values and code of conduct.

**What You Will Bring**:
As a team player, with a strong work ethic, you will be hard working and physically fit. Honest and reliable, you will enjoy learning new skills, working with good people and following processes.

You will either be an experienced commercial fish filleter or have a minimum of 5 years knifehand experience within the meat works. We are open to developing someone who is starting out their career in fisheries and keen to learn the art of commercial filleting.

You must be eligible to work in NZ and for Moana NZ.
