Commercial Cleaner

Green Evolution Cleaning Services (GECS) is looking for 3 full time commercial cleaning team members to work at multiple sites across Christchurch, Selwyn nearby areas. We provide a very high standard cleaning services with 100% customer satisfaction within different industries which includes offices, schools, manufacturing sites, fitness centres, and property management/construction companies etc.

**Hours of work**:

- minimum of 30 hours per week and upto 45 hours per week. Applicant must be available to work on weekends, late nights and public holidays as per the needs of the business and clients.

**Shifts available**
- Variable roles
- combination of morning and evening/night shifts. Applicant must be available 'On call' as a cover for early morning/Late night shifts. Please note, working a weekend day is necessary

Appplicant must be client focused and able to deliver a high standard of cleaning to meet our requirements. Cleaning duties will include but will not be restricted to:

- Mopping sweeping vacuuming dusting wiping buffing cleaning restrooms removing rubbish polishing furniture
- Window cleaning
- Carpet/Upholstery cleaning
- Heat pump cleaning
- Solar panel cleaning
- Simple operation of basic cleaning equipment.
- Notify management of issues and concerns
- Maintaining supply inventory.
- Keeping equipment operationtional by following manufacturer's guidelines.
- As part of our contracts we are required to provide our customers with staff who have a clean criminal history. This involves us performing a Ministry of Justice checks on each employee.
- Strip and polish hard floor.
- Appliance test and tagging (training for certification provided)

- Reliable
- must turn up for shifts
- Commercial cleaning experience (although preferred but not necessary as full training is provided).
- Keen eye for detail.
- Good attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work as part of a team or by yourself.
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures and company's policies.
- Good communication skills
- Be physically fit with a clean and tidy personal presentation.
- Must be able to drive as ideal candiate will be required to drive work vehicle.
