**About the role |** He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga**

The role of the Recovery Facilitator (RF) is to support tangata whaiora to achieve their goals and aspirations by using a holistic, strengths-based approach through developing a collaborative and respectful relationship. A Recovery Facilitator will manage a caseload of people and work with whaiora to encourage improvement of their health, self and personal cares and foster independence so they can thrive.

Recovery Facilitators work with Te Whatu Ora clinical teams, primary care, government organisations, community housing and support services, drug and alcohol services and health providers, to offer person and whānau centric services. Recovery Facilitators work alongside whaiora to support and maintain all aspects of wellness.

This casual Recovery Facilitator position is working on **10hour rotating shifts (4 days rostered on and 3 days off)**. Work hours will be 10-hour shifts, 7am-5:30pm, 11am-9:30pm or 9:00pm-7am.

**What you will bring |** Ngā tohungatanga mō tēnei tūranga**
- National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work (level 4) or equivalent (or willingness to undertake within first year of employment)
- Experience working with people with mental health and addictions issues.
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
- Ability to keep clear boundaries.
- ** Full NZ driver's license** and clean Police check
