**The Company**

Our client is a leading manufacturer in sustainable plastic packaging across New Zealand and Australia. They have put in over 60 years of work to grow an enthusiastic and innovative 1000+ employee base to achieve their 2025 End of Waste Promise.

**The Role**

We are looking for a production team member to join our client’s busy operation within Palmerston North. You will be Health and Safety conscious, have high levels of mechanical aptitude and be willing to learn.

**Duties will include**:

- Manual Handling of product - bagging and moving product to a designated area in the factory. The role will involve a mixture of light and heavy labour.
- Show awareness for Health & Safety and advise management of any concerns.
- Working around production machinery - you may be required to assist once competent in use of our client’s machinery.

**Benefits**:

- Above market rates, incentive rates on top of hourly pay
- Opportunity to gain experience about the wider production operation.
- Regular PAID breaks

**Days & Hours**:

- Days - Our client’s operation is 24/7, you will be required to work on a rotating roster, 4 days on 4 days off.
- Shifts: 5:30am-5:30pm

**You will need to pass the following pre-employment screening**:

- Ministry of Justice background check
- Driver license and own reliable transport
- A great attitude and willingness to learn
