Plasterer Helpers

N Sriposuk & A Pakdee Partnership has been growing fast. We are looking for five Plasterer Helpers to join our team.

**Requirements**:

- Have at least NZQF Level 1 qualification, or compulsory secondary education (overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand

qualification)
- Having experience or skills in plastering is a bonus but not required

**Specific Tasks**
- loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment and transporting them around building sites
- erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffolding
- preparing all materials for a plasterer
- cleaning and carrying out all tasks required on the construction site
- washing and cleaning all equipment
- returning all equipment to the designated area and storing
- remove all other articles
- all other related tasks

**Helping Tasks**
- Assisting a plasterer in determining plasterboard layout, and installing insulation and vapour barriers
- Assisting a plasterer in measuring, marking and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels, and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens
- Assisting a plasterer in preparing corner beads and securing them in position
- Assisting a plasterer in fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings
- Assisting a plasterer in covering joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smoothing them using wet brushes and sand paper
- Assisting a plasterer in plumbing and straightening corners, angles and wall and ceiling surfaces
- Assisting a plasterer in creating decorative textures in finishing coats

**Other detail**
- This is a full-time and permanent position
- Wage payment is $29.66 per hour, and you will be paid weekly
- Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
- You will be working in Wellington
- Business normal hours of operation are from Monday to Friday 7.00 am - 5.00 pm.
- You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week (a maximum of 48 hours) within the business’s normal hours of operation.
