We are currently working with a New Zealand headquartered start up with a massive Kiwi presence, who are searching for a driven React Developer with leadership skills to come on-board.

The company is a Market leader in what they do and provide a very innovative solutions to international Clients.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your experience and maturity while largely working on the backend API using Pyramid & SQLAlchemy.
You will be refactoring, unit testing, and architecturing the software for long term scalable growth as well as new features etc
You will work alongside a passionate senior developer

**DUTIES**
- Self-driven with good time management and prioritisation skills - they work to a high-level product roadmap, and use Kanban to manage the product backlog
- Big picture thinker prepared to dig
- Be capable of reasoning and thinking through problems, then independently and/or jointly develop solutions
- Be flexible - able to pivot and be open to new ideas and ways of working
- Have a strong work ethic
- Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to learn

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- At least 3 years experience in Senior Engineer role
- Expert level of Python and following tech:

- Typescript, React
- SQLAlchemy, Pyramid, FastAPI
- Mobile - Flutter
- Infra - Lambda, ECS, Cloudformation
- CI/CD - Bitbucket Pipelines
- Strong coding fundamentals and relational DB design experience
