Welcome to the “Protective Security, Strategy & Planning” team. This is an exciting time for us as we look to embed our new operating and service delivery model
The Protective Security, Strategy & Planning Team coordinates and supports Te Tāhū o te Ture to promote a positive security culture. We're looking for a Senior Consultant to provide support to the Manager Protective Security, Strategy & Planning in the delivery of the strategic plan to promote a lift in security maturity.
The Senior Security Consultant will provide practical leadership in promoting the adoption and implementation of protective security policy, practices and standards. They will work with our customers and stakeholders to provide solutions to mitigate business risk while lifting security culture.
The Senior Consultant will also support in the design of the strategic plan across the broad range of risks associated with the PSR Framework.

He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
To be successful, we're looking for someone with Consultancy or Senior Consultancy experience in large and complex organisations, including:

- Strong problem-solving capability.
- In-depth knowledge of protective security requirements.
- A proven track record of building and sustaining a range of strong relationships.
- Strong written communication skills.

**Ideally you will also have**:

- A sound understanding of the constitutional principles and legal processes that underpin the New Zealand justice system.
- An understanding of the court security environment across New Zealand.
- Experience in protective security planning and management, and providing policy or strategic advice

You must also have the ability to undertake frequent travel across Aotearoa New Zealand and the ability to obtain and maintain an NZSIS Top Secret clearance.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $94,377 - $131,591 based on skills and experience.
