Drake Medox is a well-respected agency that has been operating in New Zealand for 50 years, we provide services to people with disabilities. Our aim is to support people to live as independently as possible in their own homes.

**About the Clients**:
Seeking passionate Support Workers to work with several clients with spinal cord and brain injuries in and around Palmerston North. Each client has an individual routine; some are very involved with community groups and social activities and others really value spending time at home with whānau and friends.

**About the role**:
Depending on the client and the severity of their injury, you will be required to complete some or all these tasks:

- Personal cares - bowel cares and catheter management
- Complete stretches and transfers using hoists
- Household chores, meal preparation and medication administration
- Assisting the client with accessing community facilities, going shopping, meeting friends and attending medical appointments

**Skills and attributes required**:

- ** Live in Palmerston North**:

- ** Must be available to work evenings and sleepover shifts**:

- Right to work in New Zealand
- Full New Zealand Driver's Licence and your own reliable transport
- Willingness to study towards qualifications
- Ability to commit to the position long term
- Experience preferred
