**About the Employer**
Due to continuous growth, we have a great opportunity for an experienced Site Foreman to join a family owned and operated construction business that has been in operation for 35 years. The role is based in Waikato.

**About the role**
As a Foreman, you will be involved in hands on management for delivery of projects through to completion across the Waikato District - primarily in Paeroa, Maramarua and Wharepapa South, but maybe required to support other sites as needed. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team delivers results and a high level of health and safety standards are maintained. This role reports to the Site Supervisor/Manager.

**Responsibilities will include and not limited to**:

- Planning and Scheduling
- Completing quality control sheets/forms for each activity on every job in Procore
- Ensuring that all equipment, plant, machinery and vehicles on site have relevant certificates, tests, services, inspections, etc
- Periodically reassess daily goals to meet forecasted production
- Planning in advance and attending all Council, Engineer and other onsite inspections as required and following up on any failed inspections
- Monitor work completed against time allowances and advise the Site Supervisor
- Review, investigate and respond to any invoice queries presented by the QS

**About the person**
To be successful in the role, you will have a sound understanding and intricate knowledge of interpreting plans, consent requirements and specifications of your allocated jobs prior to commencing construction. You will have proven ability leading teams and maintaing a high level of H&S standards. You should be proactive in recognising issues and addressing and discussing these with your Site Supervisor. Procore experience preferred.

**Prerequisites of the role**
- BCITO level 3
- 3-5 years experience in the construction industry
- NZ Full drivers licence
- WRT, Telehandler, EWP licences
