General responsibilities include:

- Goods for return or credit are to be accurately documented.
- Ensure inward and outward goods meet required quality standards and specifications - physically checking before acceptance and/or dispatch.
- Carry out a visual stock check of stock held in all locations - notifying the Purchase Clerk of any items of low or nil stock situations - outside of normal stock holding levels.
- Answering phone calls and enquiries in a polite and timely manner.
- When required, dispatch products ensuring precise processing of all orders through to the packing slips and accuracy of consignee’s address and notification /documentation of freight company details - within the required time frame.
