Hod Guidance

Wellington Girls' College is looking for a HOD guidance. This is a permanent, full time role to start January 2025. 2MU & 1 MMA.

Counselling Services at WGC is part of a broader wellbeing teamworking alongside our deans and nurse. It is a friendly, supportive and rewarding environment. Counsellors receive both individual and group professional supervision.

The successful applicant will have,
- excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
- the ability to build strong professional relationships with the wider pastoral team and external agencies.
- Able to work closely with SMT on wider wellbeing policy and procedures.
- The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the _relevant collective agreement_. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $59,000 to $99,500, depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed._
- Overseas applicants must hold an IQA suitable for NZ Secondary Schools and preferably a NZ teachers registration_
