Groundsperson

**About the role**

The Groundsperson is responsible for maintaining and providing specialist Groundsperson services. This includes but is not limited to:

- Preparation and maintenance of cricket pitches and sports fields
- Preparation of playing surfaces, artificial practice areas and outfields to industry standards

**Turf Management**

**About you**

We’re looking for someone who:

- holds a Driver's License -Class 1 and 2
- Can drive Manual

Experience and Qualification in:

- fine turf management
- fertility management
- irrigation maintenance and operation
- identifying turf pests and diseases

Other Qualities
- Strong communication skills
- Be adaptable
- Proven capability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
- Understanding and commitment to hazard identification and risk assessment
- Be physically fit,
- Positive, punctual and reliable

- Mobile STMS
- Competency in the use of mowers and specialist turf maintenance machinary
- First Aid

- Diploma in Turf Management or certificate in turf management L4
