About the Role
Te Whatu Ora Taranaki Pharmacy department has a vacancy for a casual Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy student to join our team.
This position would be suitable for a trained Pharmacy Technician (New Zealand National Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) or a Pharmacy Student studying towards a Bachelor of Pharmacy

**The successful applicant will work across the following areas**:

- Medicine distribution (e.g. ward imprest stock, individual patient dispensing, chemotherapy).
- Stock maintenance.
- Assisting with the preparation of pharmaceuticals (extemporaneously compounded non-sterile pharmaceuticals)

About You
- A commitment to accuracy and continuous quality improvement.
- A high degree of IT literacy with both clinical information systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Qualification in Pharmacy Technician (New Zealand National Certificate in Pharmacy (Technician) level 4 or above or studying towards a Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- The ability to work as part of a busy team.
