**The Opportunity**

Te Uru Rauhi Mental Health and Addiction Services have an exciting opportunity to employ an Kaiwhakaora Ngangahau/Occupational Therapist to be part of the Mental Health New Entry to Specialist Practice (NESP) programme for 2024.

This new service model delivery approach will support the achievement of whānau whaiora.

As a NESP Kaiwhakaora Ngangahau/Occupational Therapist you will be part of a team who will be pivotal in ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and comprehensive contemporary high quality, person and whānau centred services.
- Have a passion for working with whānau and seeing them achieve their aspirations and flourish
- Be a new graduate with an interest in mental health (or therapist's new to mental health)
- Be employed in our Mental Health Service 36 hours per week for 12 months
- Complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science (Mental Health) through Auckland University of Technology

Funding for this study is through Te Pou and the successful applicant must secure a funded position to be offered employment. This is an amazing professional development opportunity and only available to NZ residents
