Nursing Lecturer

Registered Nurses, are you considering a career in nursing education' We have a permanent Nursing Lecturer position available at either fulltime or negotiated part-time hours to help maintain your work/life balance.

In addition we have a 12 month contract position available to cover for a current staff member going on parental leave.

Normally based at our Hawkes Bay Campus, but currently working from various community locations, you will work with an experienced and supportive team teaching within the Diploma of Enrolled Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing programmes. This position includes assessing and mentoring students in the classroom and various clinical practice environments.

You will require a wide range of nursing practice experience and be a registered nurse holding a current NCNZ annual practising certificate (APC).

For an experienced nursing educator or a clinician considering a move into tertiary teaching, this position offers the ideal opportunity to contribute to the future nursing workforce.

If you are new to teaching, support and training will be provided.
