Vehicle Dealership Motorific Limited in Auckland, looking for Car Groomer.
It is a full time role 30 - 40 hours per week.
Suitable person must be able to work 7 days a week roster.
The job of a car groomer involves a verity of tasks to make sure that a vehicle looks its best, both inside and outside. Some of the specific duties that are required of a car groomer may include:
- Cleaning the vehicles exteriors washing, drying, polishing and waxing.
- Vacuuming the vehicles interiors, cleaning carpets and upholstery.
- Washing tyres and wheel arches, and blacking tyres.
- Washing and polishing vehicle windows.
- Cleaning and emptying compartments in vehicles.
- May make minor repairs and touch up finishes to remove scratches.
- Inspecting vehicles for damage and reporting any issues to management.
- Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and ensuring that they are properly stored and organized.
Overall the role of a car groomer is to ensure that the vehicles they work on are kept in pristine condition and that customers are satisfied with the results. The job requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Relevant experience in a similar position would be advantageous.
Class 1 NZ Driving License would be advantageous.
Fresher welcome, on job training will be provided.
Suitable person must be a NZ Citizen or Resident.
