**Your Role**

This is an **Analyst, Actuarial Pricing **role where you will undertake reserving, reporting and budgeting functions that support the Actuarial function within IAG NZ. You will build close relationships with diverse professionals. You will enjoy the challenge of continuously improving the processes in the Actuarial function.

**ABOUT YOU **
- You will assist the Associate Actuary with the Reserving process.
- You will obtain and model data for monthly outstanding claims valuations, expense allocation and universe creation.
- You will ensure monthly claims valuations are completed on time by working with relevant business owners and External parties.
- You will contribute to ensuring data integrity is maintained throughout the business through regular and ad hoc queries/reporting.
- You will assist in the production of claims valuation data each month.
- You will obtain and model data for special projects.
- You will ensure the reporting of quarterly claims valuations to IAG NZ, IAG Group and IAG Re are completed on time by working with relevant business owners and relevant External parties.
- You will complete ad-hoc reporting in line with business requirements.
- You will complete the premium and claim budget and reforecast exercises.
- You will proactively contribute to improve the image and outcomes of the company within the marketplace to the external customer as well as provide excellent internal customer service. This may involve contributing to or assisting with other projects or initiatives.
- You will have experience in a data analysis role and a broad knowledge of general insurance gained through previous industry experience.
- You will have tertiary qualification in Statistics or Science/Engineering/Mathematics (with a statistical component preferred).
