**Great Lake Taxis** based in Taupo is looking for a **Taxi Owner/Operator** to join our team.

As a Taxi Owner/Operator, you will have the unique opportunity to run your own taxi under the umbrella of Great Lake Taxis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a licensed taxi within the Taupo region, providing transportation services to passengers in a safe and courteous manner.
- Use mobile computer systems and radio networks to log into waiting passenger information.
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained, and fully operational vehicle at all times, ensuring compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards, prioritizing passenger comfort, safety, and satisfaction.
- Handle payments, maintain accurate records, and adhere to financial protocols and reporting requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Valid New Zealand driver's license with a clean driving record
- Passenger endorsement
- Availability during weekends, night shifts or early morning starts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure
- Adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
