**The role**:
We have an exciting role, where you’ll join a stable branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working with a close-knit, experienced team within a large organisation.

Reporting to the Branch Manager in
**Queenstown**, this is a varied role that will see you involved in sales on the Trade Counter, sorting incoming deliveries or picking/packing and dispatching for outgoing deliveries and being the back-up Driver, when required, to get orders out to our customers. Working behind the Trade Counter, you’ll ensure that our customers, who are made up of tradies, businesses and home-owners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service, but even working in inwards goods or doing deliveries will bring your great customer service skills into play, as you liaise with them on their orders and support them to keep their businesses on the go

You’ll have the chance to learn our products, and this will give you the opportunity to progress in the branch, the business, and the organisation. Product or industry knowledge would be a real bonus, but we have heaps of great training materials, if you’re a willing learner

This is a permanent, full time role, working Monday’s to Friday’s and rostered Saturday mornings.

**About you**:
To shine in this role, you’ll bring a customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team. Our Queenstown team work collaboratively and so your strong teamwork skills are essential to this role. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength, and you’ll be IT savvy too.

There is some manual handling required and so you’ll need to be physically fit. A full, clean, Class 1 drivers’ licence is required and if you do have forklift experience then that would be a real bonus

We are a close-knit, fun-loving team, looking for someone with a confident, out-going personality and a natural ability to relate to people. We all pull together, and seamlessly step into each other’s roles when required, so being prepared to get stuck in and assist where needed is a must.
