**Job Duties**

Hammerhand
- Construction of friable asbestos removal enclosures
- Loading and unloading of materials
- Construction of barriers and other building/carpentry work as required

Asbestos Removal
- Removal of different types of asbestos containing materials (Class A Friable and Class B Non-Friable)
- Working under the direct supervision and direction from a licensed Asbestos Supervisor
- Follow work methodologies and put in place control measures as specified in the Site-Specific Asbestos Removal Control Plans and Task Analysis
- Operate plant and equipment for asbestos removal works
- Support the Asbestos Supervisor as required in the daily management of the project works to achieve successful completion of the daily tasks
- Wear and take care of supplied PPE/RPE and complete the RPE daily maintenance checklist
- Loading of asbestos waste into sealed and lined skips

Strip Out & Demolition
- Perform strip-out works and general labouring duties on Ceres NZ projects
- Separate and sort demolition debris on-site as required to reduce heavy waste streams
- Check site fencing and security at the start and finish of the day
- Monitor site tidiness and keep surrounding areas clean and clear as required
- Operate water hoses and the like for dust suppression/control

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Minimum of 12months of previous asbestos removal experience (Class A & B);
- Asbestos training certificates (Class A & B)
- Site Safe passport (can be obtained while in NZ)
- EWP and working at height tickets are an advantage(can be obtained while in NZ)
- Full and current driving license is an advantage(includes international drivers license)

**Additional role requirements**:

- Pre-employment and random Drug and Alcohol testing

- Physically fit and able to lift 20kg
