**Mō te tūranga - About the role**
As a Consultant Psychiatrist you will work within our Adult General and Inpatient Service as part of our integrated system. Here you will enjoy a variety of presentations in your role involving input into both new admissions and under care work.

You will predominantly work in Te Awhina, our Inpatient Acute Mental Health service. This is a 12-bed inpatient unit for people 18 years and older.

You will also support and mentor our House Officers and Registrars.

**Mōu ake - About you**

We want to hear from Psychiatrists who have experience in adult mental health which would include inpatient, community and psychiatric emergency services.

You will need to be Vocationally Registered Psychiatrist with the Medical Council NZ or be eligible for this and have fellowship with the RANZCP or equivalent is essential.
