Our client is based in Rolleston, Christchurch with work ongoing throughout the South Island. We are currently seeking Drainlayers with extensive experience and competency.

**To be successful for this role**:

- A minimum of 3-5 years of New Zealand experience in civil and residential and stormwater systems
- Certified Drainlayer Ticket
- W, T, and R endorsements a bonus
- A Clean Full Class 1 or 2 NZ Driver’s License
- Must have their own reliable transport.
- Needs to pass all pre-employment checks.
- Physically fit and strong
- Good communication
- Reliable and honest
- Enjoy outdoor work and getting your hands dirty.
- Compliant with strict Health and Safety requirements
- Strong work ethic and enjoy working as part of an extensive team.

**Responsibilities for the role**:

- Be able to read plans with the ability to deliver the project on time.
- Excavating trenches, laying pipes, and connecting fittings according to projects
- Operating heavy equipment and machinery (excavators/rollers/loaders/tractors/trucks)
- Collaborating with project managers and construction teams to ensure successful completion of projects.
