We have a full-time permanent opportunity for an Informatician to join our Surveillance Operations team who touches the hottest topics in public health surveillance today, including supporting our national notifiable disease management system (EpiSurv), National Clinical Data Repository (Eclair) and other integrated data management activities to support public health response.
We are flexible for the role to be based anywhere in New Zealand.
Kia angitu koe | About you
To be successful in this role, you'll have a mix of the following:

- A relevant IT qualification or equivalent work experience.
- Intermediate skills in a programming language (SQL, R or Python).
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to communicate positively and effectively.
- Demonstrable critical thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience working in informatics or supporting analytics products for public health, disease reporting or management would be desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience with SSRS and Visual Studio are advantageous, but not essential.
