Job Title: Front of House Staff and Barista

**Job Type**: Part-time, Permanent

Location: Christchurch, New Zealand

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers as they arrive at the café, take their orders and serve food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea to customers, ensuring that it is always consistent and to our high standards
- Operate cash registers, handle cash and card payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the café and ensure that all equipment and supplies are well-stocked and in good working condition
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the café at the beginning of the day and cleaning up at the end of the day

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role as a Barista and Front of House staff, with a strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation and customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 23 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
