We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Business Analytics and Targeting team within Joint Targeting and Analytics in the Immigration Risk and Border branch.

As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for providing business analytics services, including monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on outcomes, issues, trends and challenges. You will be responsible for providing statistical analysis, data analysis, regular and ad hoc reporting, quality assurance and advisory services to support R&V and wider INZ.

**We are keen to hear from you if you are/have**:

- Proven knowledge and experience in analysing business information needs and the ability to translate these into business information requirements.
- Knowledge of relational databases and business information tools/software.

- Must have proven experience utilising SQL.
- Preferable experience in Power BI and R.
- Ability to work with numbers and utilising these to underpin decisions with quantitative data.
- Excellent communications, self-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to clearly present analysis and ideas on in person and on paper.
- Ability to quickly establish and build strong working relationships.
