Heron Construction is one of New Zealand’s largest marine construction companies and has been delivering projects in New Zealand, Australia, and the South Pacific for over 50 years. We are proud to be a New Zealand owned and operated company which is led by highly experienced industry professionals.

Heron has well equipped workshop facilities in Papakura from where we undertake our fabrication and maintenance needs. We have a mixture of skilled and dedicated full time employees and contractors that assist when demand dictates. The workshops exist to build and fabricate new equipment for projects, while maintaining, servicing and repairing existing plant and machinery. No outside work is undertaken - essentially Heron is our only customer.

We are now looking to add another experienced person to support our future workload. Your sandblasting/painting experience should ideally include working on structural steel, commercial boats and heavy machinery. Heavy traffic license would also be seen as an advantage.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a good rate, paid time and a half overtime and free health insurance.
