We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Test Analyst with Automation experience to join the Fire and Emergency Test Practice. Reporting to the Test Manager, you’ll be based in Newlands, Wellington and NHQ, Wellington CBD. This person will be placed into an established testing team with the opportunity to develop and grow.
You will be responsible and accountable for:
- analysing the technical and business requirements,
- assessing the feasibility of automation, and drafting high level and detailed automation scenarios,
- conducting the traceability of requirements to test cases to ensure all the critical requirements have been exercised within the test scope.
- ensure that all the test activity is completed within the agreed timeframes
- manage the end-to-end test execution and run rate for each test cycle within the project.
The position plays a key role in keeping the Test Manager informed of any risks, issues or any other concerns within the project and escalating these as required.
**Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga - What you’ll bring to the role**:
You will bring a broad range of skills including experience in Manual Testing, Test Automation. You will be Comfortable working with information systems and tools (including GIS) to identify and utilise data sets and information resources and will be adept at building collaborative working relationships with a wide range of people and organisations.
**To be successful in this role, we’d expect you will bring**:
- Scripting Languages: Python, PowerShell, C sharp, Java Script.
- Database query languages: PL/SQL (Procedural Language/Structured Query Language) and T-SQL (Transact-SQL).
- Version Control: Git Hub version control systems to manage and track changes to database schemas and configurations.
- Testing tools and frameworks:
- Selenium, Appium, and Winappdriver for UI Automation.
- Postman with REST API knowledge and test scripting
- Visual Studio knowledge to build UI automation packages.
- SSIS
**Experience in**:
- Database & ETL (Extract, Transforms, and Load) testing
- Experience Encryption testing
- Experience in Monitoring and Logging
- Experience in Operating Systems
- Experience in Map Testing
- Hardware testing
