We are looking for an Experienced Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join our awesome team at PetVet Silverstream - with flexibility in this part time role for 16-20 hours per week.

This role will be largely focused on surgery, but will also include some consulting depending on client demand. You will enjoy a wide range of surgical cases from routine desexings and lump removals, through to more complex procedures including caesarian, splenectomy, amputations, cruciates, some fractures, all grades of dentals and abdominal surgeries.

**About the clinic**
- PetVet Silverstream are a gold standard clinic, situated in a lovely part of the Hutt Valley.
- Multi-Vet Team - you’ll join 5 other vets whose experience ranges from 1 year - 30 years
- Experienced nurses - Our nurses perform nurse consultations, supporting vets in several different ways to improve patient care
- We have lots of fantastic equipment including in-house REM systems blood machines, multi-parameter anaesthesia monitoring including ECG and blood pressure monitoring via oscillometric and Doppler, digital xray, dental xray, a brand-new high-quality GE ultrasound machine
- Your new workplace is a purpose-built hospital with sterile surgery theatre plus an additional theatre for dentals, enemas etc
- We also support the Trentham Police Dogs training and breeding centre with medical, as well as on-call whelping support which is shared amongst the most experienced clinicians and nurses on staff.
