**About us**

We are in the animal health business, partnering with our clients in the areas of Research and Development (R&D) and manufacturing to produce pharmaceuticals for both farm and companion animals. Originally founded in 2006 by a New Zealand chemist with an entrepreneurial mindset, Argenta’s vision is “Healthier Animals, Sustainably”. Our recipe for success has been our uniqueness in our vision and our people. Argenta now has operations across 8 sites with locations in New Zealand, the United States, Scotland, Germany and Spain with almost 500 employees globally.

The Manurewa site is primarily manufacturing with the global business producing over 70 pharmaceutical products, importing materials from across the global and exporting to over 50 countries. We have recently established a 3PL site, and we partner with most of the top 10 global animal health companies to deliver Right First Time. This is an exciting time to join our business as we continue our internal growth journey and optimise our processes with a high focus on quality.

**About the role**

Due to a move back across the ditch we’re now in need of a talented Supply Chain manager to step in and take the lead of our Supply Chain team. The team consists of Procurement, Logistics and Warehousing (including a team who dispenses raw pharmaceuticals materials for production).

Some of the key responsibilities will include actively supporting S&OP processes to ensure Supply Chain KPI’s are met, such as DIFOT. Stakeholder management will be key, as managing relationships with key suppliers ensuring the most cost-effective results for the company and developing strong relationships with key clients. This role is also responsible for supporting the annual customer pricing reviews.

Most importantly, this operational leadership role is accountable for driving a safety and quality culture across Supply Chain and must demonstrate collaborative leadership across all functions on site.

**About you**

No two days will be the same, and as we have a unique business model (CDMO) within the Animal Health industry there may be challenges that you’ve not encountered before, however, your resilience, strong commercial acumen and constructive leadership attributes will set you up for success in this key role.

Along with these skills, some of your background, experience and attributes will include;
- Outstanding leadership skills and ability to build a positive culture in line with the company values
- Experience leading a supply function within a pharmaceutical business
- The ability to identify opportunities and create value from complex supply chain networks
- Highly collaborative, credible, with an ability to engage and influence at senior levels internally
- Knowledge of GMP and FDA Manufacturing regulations
