Due to internal movements, we are currently seeking a Head of Department for some of our Retail teams. These role report into the Retail Manager and are an integral part of our retail team.

As HOD / Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

- Maximizing sales and profit through delivering excellent staff leadership
- Ensuring customers are the number one priority
- Promoting a team culture that encourages a positive working environment
- Stock, displays and brand standards
- Management of the department's team and all employee related functions
- Contributing to the overall success of the store by actively supporting health & safety and loss prevention initiatives and process

We value high performers who can ‘walk the talk’ and who are naturally inclined to enjoy front facing customer interactions. We’re a pretty easy-going, down to earth bunch but we like to get the job done.

Does this sound like you?
- Leadership or supervisory experience in either Retail or Trade
- Ability to work as part of a team, and provide direction and leadership
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions
- A passion for customer service excellence
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Flexibility & adaptability
- Intermediate computer skills; and
- Ability to manage a varied and busy workload.

This role is for 42.5 hours per week, worked either Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday (by agreement), and the hours of work will be on a set rostered basis.
