**About the role**

Are you a qualified Line mechanic, Test technician or Substation fitter working in the Electrical Distribution Industry? Have you ever considered transferring your practical and technical skills to an office-based role?

If you are currently working in the power industry in a field-based role, fully trade qualified with at least 3 years of distribution experience you could use that valuable knowledge to become an accomplished electrical distribution designer.

You will join a collaborative, innovative team who value your technical expertise who will also be looking to learn from you.

You will work with a variety of clients from connecting customers, developers to Electricity Distribution Businesses across New Zealand.

You will be part of a supportive team that develops and details design solutions by understanding customer requirements, visiting sites, liaising with construction experts, producing CAD drawings and associated documentation.

**Pre-Employment Tests | Medical & Ministry of Justice**

Connetics require all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check, a Pre-Employment medical test which includes a Drug and Alcohol test.
