Reporting to the Store Operations Manager, the primary role of the Retail Operations Assistant Manager is to effectively lead the operations team. This role is a 45 hour working week working 5am to 2.30pm Tuesday to Saturday.
**The role**:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Manage day to day operations ensuring operational delivery standards and customer promises are met
- Leadership and development of Operations team
- Maintain rosters for the team ensuring adequate team levels at all times
- Management and reporting of department costs and results
**About you, your skills and expertise**:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a FMCG, retail, wholesale or supermarket environment.
- Management experience equivalent to Department Manager
- A passion for driving performance, developing and inspiring others to achieve business and personal goals.
- Strong numerical understanding and an analytical mindset.
- Highly organised, adaptable, accountable and solutions focused.
- Ability to multi-task and successfully manage several key areas of the business.
- Ability to work flexible hours from time to time.
- Computer literate
