Control Room Operator - Wairau

We are seeking applicants to join our 24-hour control room team. The role is open to full-time or part-time applicants.

We are an established, privately owned and operated technology-focused company providing electronic surveillance (systems and services), fire monitoring (systems and services) and intelligent traffic systems throughout New Zealand and Australia. We provide monitoring and surveillance services to a national customer base from our new offices in Wairau Valley, Auckland.

You will be given on-the-job training with the opportunity to be involved as our monitoring division and the team develops and grows. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers so ideally, we are looking for confident and/or personable individuals.

As this is a 24-hour 7-days a week operation, applicants should be able to work 7 days of the week, day or night. Rosters are prepared and assigned on an agreed basis but you must have some flexibility to your working hours.

Please ensure you meet some or all of the following attributes before you apply:

- Alarm or surveillance monitoring is desirable but not required;
- Current COA, class PRG; desirable but not required;
- Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Excel, Word;
- Confidence learning new software programs;
- Excellent data entry skills with excellent attention to detail;
- Confident, calm and professional phone manner;
- Good written and verbal English communication skills;
- Flexible working hours;
- Ability to sit for long periods of time;
- Ability to work alone for extended periods of time;
- Have your own reliable means of transportation and a clear full NZ driver licence;
- Non-smoker;
- NZ citizen, NZ permanent resident or permitted to work in NZ.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

As this is an isolated position, it is not mandatory to be vaccinated at this stage.
