EHS Advisor

**_
Responsibilities:_**
- Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or minimize workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborate with site managers to ensure effective EHS communication and consultation programs, as well as leading training and inductions.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and report EHS performance metrics to senior management and assist in developing and implementing improvement plans.
- Keep up-to-date with new EHS legislation, regulations, and industry best practices and communicate any changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in emergency response planning and participate in emergency drills and exercises.

Qualifications:_**
- Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field, or working towards this.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of EHS laws and regulations applicable to the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in conducting EHS audits and inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills to positively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CPE) preferred.
