Cafe Assistant

**Summerset Dunedin is looking for a friendly & energetic Café Assistant to assist our busy café during the weekend**

**About the Role**:
Our Café Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families. **_This is a permanent part-time role working the weekend shift of Saturday & Sunday._**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Café Supervisor with daily operation of the on-site café
- Providing quality customer service to café patrons
- Demonstrating compliance to all regulatory and hygiene requirements
- Assisting the coordination and catering of village residents' functions

**About You**:
You will be an energetic and friendly person with a positive can-do attitude and good communication skills. We value your customer service ethic as much as the technical skills you bring to the team - our culture is what sets us apart To be successful you will bring:

- Top class customer service to ensure a great café experience to our residents and their guests
- The ability to provide high quality and timely support for the Chef
- Prior experience with making great coffee, food preparation and presentation is preferable
- The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
