We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our team in Hastings. For this role, you must be due to complete your Bachlor of Engineering Degree in December 2023, majoring in either Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.

Working under supervision the Graduate Engineer will be receiving training in various aspects of the electrical distribution industry while performing engineering, research and development assignments as directed.

**In this role you will**:

- Undertake engineering assignments as directed, using established and well defined engineering procedures to ensure completion of assigned tasks on time and to a high standard.
- Assist other Unison employees (and in particular more experience engineers) in carrying out tasks requi9ring accuracy in calculations, completeness of data and adherence to testing analysis, design or computation methods.
- Contribute to the preparation of relevant company and regulatory documentation including Asset Management Plans, and Information Disclosures.
- Become familiar with all aspects of the Company's operations and functions so as to be able to assist in those areas as appropriate.

**Qualifications and Experience required for this role**:

- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Current Drivers Licence
- Previous work experience in an electrical engineering/power systems environment would be an advantage but not a requirement.
