Ara Poutama Aotearoa is committed to providing high quality psychological approaches to the people in our management. Humanising and healing are key principles of Hōkai Rangi, our over-arching strategic direction.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong team player to join a team to manage office logistics and processes. You will work closely with the Manager Psychological Services to support the team in the provision of their work and project activities.
Ngā kawenga | About the role
With a keen eye for detail, you will be instrumental in supporting our business unit, acting as a key point of contact for internal and external customers across the country. Possessing exceptional communication and organisational skills, your duties and responsibilities will be dynamic including:
- Co-ordination and management of the referral process and Parole Board requests,
- Co-ordination and organisation of meetings, functions, seminars, and other events on behalf of the team.
- Travel and expenses coordination.
- Health, Safety and Wellbeing representation
- Budgeting and reporting, presentations, reception duties and general correspondence
- Equipment and facilities maintenance
- Maintaining and updating records, systems, and files.
- Developing office systems that enhance efficiencies and ensure legal and professional obligations are met.
- Supporting the Manager Psychological Services with Ministerial and Official Information Act requests

You will need a full New Zealand driver licence for this role.
Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary range for this role starts at $60,018. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
