**Furniture Mover**

We are looking for two Furniture Movers for our company based in South Auckland.

We offer minimum 30 hours of work per week and pay rate $29.70 per hour.

**Tasks and duties are as follows**:

- Loading and unloading furniture items
- Checking and inspecting all furniture for any damages and making adjustments to consistently ensure safety.
- Transferring loads using moving equipment
- Ensuring no items are damaged while moving
- Helping in tying and securing the loads
- Assembling or placing items as needed
- Opening and closing hatches
- Securing furniture to prevent shifting during transit
- Protecting furniture from damage through established best practices
- Interacting with customers and answering their queries
- Labelling goods with delivery details and destinations
- Assisting truck drivers into loading bays

**Role requirements**:

- Be physically strong
- Able to lift weight
- Relevant work experience preferred but not mandatory

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $29.70 per hour
