Weighbridge Operator

**The role**:We are currently recruiting a **Weighbridge Operator **to join our Quarry team based in **Christchurch.** This is a permanent part-time role, 11 hours over 2 days a week & ideally, you will have the ability to cover other shifts for holiday/sick cover.

You will be the first point of contact for all our Quarry customers, your duties will include; meeting & greeting customers, coordinating with the quarry team, weighing vehicles arriving and departing, data entry, and other general administration tasks such as filing & reporting.
- ** Shift Schedule**:

- **Thursdays: 6:30 am - 12:00 pm**:

- **Fridays: 6:30 am - 12:00 pm**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Weighbridge data entry - the accurate entry of information into the Nimbus Information System for all product movements over the weighbridge.
- Product loadout - co-ordination with Quarry operators to ensure that the product for customers is loaded as quickly and efficiently as possible
- General duties - answering the telephone and greeting visitors at the office site
- Provide backup for other roles within the weighbridge team to ensure coverage in circumstances when another team member is absent (sick, on leave, on training courses).

**What you bring to the role**:

- Experience in face-to-face & over-the-phone customer services is essential.
- Good computer/data entry skills.
- Experience working within a similar or quarry environment will be a definite advantage.
- A can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and an ability to work with others is required.
- Flexibility to hours.
- Being a leader in safe working practices is mandatory.
