The Development Engineering team is growing and is looking for Land Development Engineers to join the team. With an eye on the future, this role will see you actively involved in the development and building of a sustainable and environmentally friendly community for the future of the region. We want to hear from experienced and senior Land Development Engineers who can bring their technical skills, share their knowledge, and experience and help develop junior members of the team. Calling all Land Development Engineers - join this excellent team that will see you working with a forward-thinking council with a great vision for the future.

**The Challenge**:

- Ensure legislative timeframes are met for building and resource consents.
- Review engineering designs and developer proposals.
- Prepare and present reports to council’s committees.
- Monitor land use and subdivision works ensuring engineering requirements are satisfied.

**Your Skills**
- Big picture thinking with a detailed approach.
- Dip. Civil Eng or BEng Civil or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Ideally 2 plus years’ experience as a Land Development Engineer
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent multi-disciplinary civil engineering technical and/or practical knowledge.
- Knowledge of relevant NZ standards, and the Resource Management Act in relation to roading, subdivisions, land use and infrastructural requirements.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to assist delivery of projects.
