Misola in Christchurch is looking for full-time Senior Hairdressers who share our values of caring, passion, integrity, and ambition to provide the highest standard hair services for our customers.

As a Senior Hairdresser you:

- Provide advice and help clients decide their ideal haircut and hairstyle.
- Perform haircuts according to client preferences and current trends.
- Perform hair colouring methods, such as highlights, ombre, and balayage.
- Style hair, including blow-dry, curls, braids, and updos.
- Recommend and sell to clients of suitable products and services.
- Develop ongoing relationships with clients.
- Take phone calls and schedule appointments in a professional and friendly manner.
- Keep a clean station and sanitizes all tools.
- Follow all salon policies and procedures.

The successful applicant must have:

- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Hairdresser.
- Friendly and bubbly personality.
- Due to our large number of Asian clients, it is essential to be skilled in understanding and cutting Asian hair.
- A team player.
- Have a willing-to-learn attitude.
- Passionate about hairdressing.
- Able to work in weekends (Sunday rotating shift).
- Able to provide a resume and written references from your previous employer so we can verify your experience.

We offer:

- Wage between $29.70 to $31, plus commission.
- Hours/days of work can flexible and will be discussed.
- Guarantee minimum 30 hours per week.
